Plan to join us for a lovely afternoon as we enjoy a special Victorian tea. We will be greeted by friends of Miss Daisy Grubb. Daisy's family built the mansion and resided here until the 1920s. Upon arrival, our group will be given an etiquette lesson (always good for a lot of laughter). Throughout the tea, Miss Daisy and her friends will share history of the English tea, as well as history of the gorgeous mansion. There is no formal dress code.
Bellies will be full with three savory finger sandwiches, three delectable sweets, and a spot of tea. After enjoying tea, guests will be treated to a mansion tour. Reserve your seat at the table soon!!
On our way to Lancaster, we will take a half hour break at Hilshers General Store. We are coming directly home after the ice cream stop.
Following our Victorian tea, we top off this experience with a stop at Fox Meadows Creamery (at your own expense). The Simple Premise: Fox Meadows Creamery features hand-crafted ice cream made on-site with milk from their small dairy farm just across the field. Their belief is that happy cows make tasty ice cream.
